Climate Smart Forestry ‘regional’ tour – Northwest

This webinar is our second stop on a U.S. climate smart forestry tour, focusing on the diverse and productive forests of the Northwest. Presenters will introduce the defining characteristics of forests in this region and how the fundamental principles of climate smart forestry are being applied on the ground. This will include a discussion of important forest practices, the realities for different types of forest landowners, and the considerations for sourcing wood that supports long-term forest health and resilience in this region.
